Completed the dashboard

Finally after a long while! I have completed airbrushing and assembling the dashboard & steering wheel. Here is the photo:

You can see that the VW logo on the steering wheel is little too low (should be directly on imprinted circle instead), but too late the decal has dried.

Finally! After ordering a new chassis replacement part for my melted and failed paint work, this time I really took a lot of patience and time (Thanks to all your advices and encouragements).

This shows me doing the masking for the bottom part of the chassis.

The result after airbrushing with Tamiya Chrome Silver.

Here is the chassis with completed painting. The whole chassis was airbrushed using Tamiya Acrylic Semi-gloss Black, followed by masking to airbrush Tamiya Enamel Chrome Silver. Edges with paint oversprays are touched/cleaned up using a fine paint brush dipped in Tamiya Enamel thinner.

This is turning out to be nice little car. Nice choice of colour! It does seem to a little dark for Italian Red though, well as compared to the Ferrrari I doing which is painted the same colour.

I'm glad! Please keep us updated on your progress...but no need to rush. I started this since April and now left with the task of completing the passenger compartment.
