Dood! An exibition (sp?) of speed ticket here in Az is HUGE! A co-worker of mine got one (peeling out). And it was like a grand in fines, and iirc, it's like 8 pts on your license. I think you loose you license in Az at 9pts, or maybe after 9 I'm not sure. All I know is taht I have not gotten caught street racing, or speeding. And I don't plan on it anytime soon either. I would be Fu*%ed if I didn't have a license. I need my car to get to school and work. That and taking the bus, or riding my bike that far is just not cool. Also, what would i spend my money on? I suggest you pull some sparkplugs, or maybe get JWT to program a special chip for you the anti-speeding, anti-streetracing ECU

when you go to court, tell the judge the truth.
you may have an opportunity before the trial to talk with the prosecutor, and plea bargain... plead guilty to a lesser crime, like speeding.
Whatever you do, NEVER ADMIT you did something, especially if you really didn't.
And, don't be a jerk in court. the only 'enemy' of yours in court is the prosecution, but you still gotta be professional to them. The judge is on no ones side.

If the cop is not there at the trial, they may just drop it, or trick you and try to extend the trial to a future date...ie, when the pig comes back from vacation. Tell them 'No. There is no reason I should give up my right to a speedy trial.'

You should be searching the internet on fighting tickets. maybe get a lawyer. a few grand is a lot of money, maybe cheaper to pay a lawyer few hundred, then a fewhundred $ fine. thats still less than few grand.


And people, FIGHT your tickets.... If we all clog up the system, they will stop giving bullshit tickets, and the cops will concentrate on real criminals.

Damn that sux like no other. I know that street racing isnt one ticket, its a pile of them. Like speeding, recless driving, accelerating too fast, and some others. Basicly a shit load of money and insurance is gonna be a bitch now.
