The list on a WRX is $37000.....so, the Subaru dealership was overcharging. Either way, I definately feel that the TL type S is a great car....I would personally grab a CL type S with the 6 speed manual....It is very fast, and more luxurious then the WRX. Of course, it is FWD, so, it loses out there.
Even so, both are excellent cars, and all that matters is that the car suits the buyer. |

Subaru were not overcharging, IMHO they were simply trying to make a profit. Whats wrong with that? Nothing. A company has to make a profit, so if they have to charge high than so be it - look how big Subaru as an organisation is, even $10k per STi sale probably isn't adequate in covering costs. The price goes on price of supplies, admin costs, etc.

A manual will always be faster, in any car.
