Thumbs up

To me the height looks just right, keep it that way. The wheels look great too. If I was to build this kit I'd do it much like you do. A clean, almost stock look but with slight drop and different wheels. Maybe I'd shave some little chrome bits off, but not everything.

Candy apple red sounds great. A white roof might look nice with it.

Keep up the good work.

I'm not at all a fan of those style of wheels. They just look plain tacky and unrealistic (even in real life). If you can, and if you'd like, hunt down some wild VIP wheels from Fujimi or Aoshima or something out of a Revell kit like the Dodge Sidewinder (20 inch fron, 22 inch rears I think) or the Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels from the AMT/Ertl 1962 Ford Thunderbird or anything besides those multi-spoke horrors.

Otherwise, this is a lovely looking project so far. I like what you're doing with the engine and the suspension drop is just right.

It's opinions, but if someone would buy those wheels for me I'd put them on. I'd rather have another kit then a set of wheels.

I have a 64 Impala lowrider, a 94 Impala lowrider, both currently being rebuilt and a Monte Carlo and another 64 Impala to come, plus this.[/b][/quote]

I'm going to shave the handles, maybe some other things. I will most likely do the roof in the same colour as the interior.
