Actually not too long ago there was talk of Texas seperating itself from the U.S. to b/c independent again. But of course that was probably hogwash and it faded away fast. I wouldn't mind it though.

I know you're trying to be sarcastic/funny, but what exactly do you mean?

Not entirely sure.........seems I can always get a bite when I'm talking politics with a Texan[exept the guy with 'texan' for a username- the exception that proves the rule! ].I m not in the habit of getting beaten up,being about 6'7" and built like a barn door certainly deters most people, but I get the feeling that if you wind a southerner up enough, that alone would not be much protection!

Texans are the some of the nicest people you would probably ever meet. At least most of us are. I've never gotten beaten up(probably b/c I've never had enemies and have always been pretty popular and easy to get along with). Damn, 6'7" , you ever play basketball?

That was until George W escaped, once he managed to get out of Texas, there was not point in giving it independance as the damage was done

Hope you all realise I am just joking....right?

Yes, I know you're joking. While sometimes I'm in a bad mood and the constant bush bashing irritates me I know that it is ya'lls opinions and I totally accept that, just as when I post my rebutle or opinion you accept what I believe. Bush was a pretty good governor though. Can't say the same for Rick somethinganother....oh yea Perry I didn't even know who the hell the governor of texas was for like the first 6 months he was in office b/c it seemed we didn't hear a peep outta him. But other than Guilianni I'm not really sure what governor really does much for a state except make it worse.

Let's not forget teh Dubya was a member of the Air National Guard, before he deserted in time of war to go help out someone on a political campaign...

He knows what it's like to fly a jet, he just wanted a photo op, part of the whole "Bush the cowboy" image the spin doctors love so much...

Believe me, compared to my thoughts on the South African Govt, my thoughts about Bush could be considered loving and kind
