You need to look at fuse 16 (10 amp) again. This fuse supplies power to the tranny solenoids & the cooling fan relays. Remove the fuse and even if it looks good swap it with another 10 amp fuse. If that doesn't cure the problem then you need to remove the fuse & check for 12 volts at the fuse holder with the key on run. The black meter lead will need to be grounded & the red placed on each of the fuse terminals. One of those terminals should have 12 volts with the key in the run position. Let us know what you find.
Edit - Also check fuse #6 with the procedure above. I have a Chilton's manual that says it's fuse #6 and some online wiring diagrams that say it's fuse #16. Last edited by Mickey#1; 04-17-2010 at 09:47 AM. |
