Fantastic job, for sure to follow.

I'm impressed by your photo skills also: would you like to share something of your photo set-up? Also thiny details like screws come out neat, well balanced and perfectly on-focus.

Re: Porsche 910 Nürburgring 67 'winner - Tamiya 1/12

Many thanks guys.

Gio, I make pictures with the Canon EOS 400D Canon 60mm Macro lens on a completely manual settings. In addition, I make pictures in non shadows tent and lighting two bulbs with brightness 5500K.
So it looks like

Is such a place in my apartment on the top floor which creates a small studio

Little progress in the work

This is the engine with part of the power system

I decided to cut the protruding elements to connect the wires that run from the injection pump because in reality they are located aslant

This is sparks by Tamiya

and my modification

next to the screws, cut off plastic imitations and prepared a place under the bolt ScaleHardware

the same thing on the shelvesat the air tricks

drilled all the elements

Re: Porsche 910 Nürburgring 67 'winner - Tamiya 1/12

Looks great. I love all the nuts and bolts. It adds so much to the overall effect. You must have spent a fortune on all that brass hardware!

You should start planning a visit to Chicago next April to show this off at Ferrari Expo 2011(and also Porsche's).
Chicago is number 2 after Warsaw for its Polish population.(visit relatives as an excuse???)

Hahaha! I have no relatives in Chicago.
I do not know whether I finish in April next year, because my building has a very weak pace.
1. Family
2. Work
and finally at third place is my hobby as shown by my many unfinished models

Re: Porsche 910 Nürburgring 67 'winner - Tamiya 1/12

Thanks!

Next step is a mechanical injection pump

This is a pump by Tamiya

basic problem is that he stands sideways and based on the motor housing

the next thing is to improve the appearance of the pump

this the pump in 1:1

My work

and

This is not the end of the pump will be continued

Re: Porsche 910 Nürburgring 67 'winner - Tamiya 1/12

Beautiful work Mark. This week I recived my Porsche 910. I'm sure I can learn a lot from your build. Wich version are you going to make. I'm thinking of building the Nurburgring "Lufthansa"version. Keep up the fine work.

Re: Porsche 910 Nürburgring 67 'winner - Tamiya 1/12

I build this version which is on the box with the number 17, Nurburgring 1000km Race Overall Winner.

The next step is implementation of a mechanical tachometer, which made no provision for Tamiya.
So it looks 1:1

I made it from round and hexagonal styrene rod

Looks great Mark. Where did you get the detailed pictures, they're very usefull. If you don't mind I save these pictures for later use on my own Porsche 910. Your work is excellent, can't wait for more progress.
