S.mac22 my brother is the head technician for Ford Up in Rhode Island and a few years ago I asked him the same question. He told me if you use one bottle for 3 fill-ups of gas it will be as clean as it's gonna get.
He also warned NOT to use Gumout. He told me it caused the varnish in the lines to get gummy and make things worse. He told me to use STP instead. Don't know if this is true or not but hey, He's the tech. Hope that helps ya.
