Im really hating those fart cans more and more as the years go by. They think they some hot shyt too I mean revving the hell out of the engine at red lights in traffic jams ---al this revving just to move the car like 10 feet Like that ish sounds goood Vreeeeeem Vreeeemmm my Briggs and Stratton 4 hp lawn mower sounds more intimidating. Then when they try to pass you or something and you can hear the enging litterally screaming stooooooopppppp it thru that exhaust note as they punch it hard as hell to barely pass you and your not even racing them. Personally I have heard better exhaust notes from mufflers with normal size tips and very Big Ballsy engines. But its just such a gay and annoying fad. I remeber just the other day I was lined up at a light next to a riced out primer CRX with one of those god-awful fart cans. I was feeling giddy and wanted to poke fun at him so I threw one rev just 1 rev From the Acura Legend 6 cyclinder up to about 6-6.5 rpms a nice VROOOOOM as I have a factory exhaust with Intake. So its nice quiet ride until I step on it and then it really gets loud. Anyway ricer just looks at me cracks a smile stares at the dubs for a little , light changes green and I take off all nice and slow cause I dont race anyway just wanted to see if He would stomp on it like a dumb ass. Well He looked intimidated when he did the most slowest roll take off in a most, " I dont want to mess with you manner." Ahhhh I love messing with ricers.

First of all, the CRX probably only had a body kit on it. If you didn't notice by the primer, he doesn't exaclty have the money to build on the engine, much less to buy a Legend. I was riding with my friend in his Eclipse, with his "fart-can" exhaust and we pulled up next to an Acura Legend who also had his car fixed up. Light turned green and my friend smoked him so bad it looked like the Legend was standing still in awe and amazement of what he had just seen. Sad thing is my friend hasn't done anything to his engine. He cut off his air filter box and put on an exhaust. I thought it was funny. So if you don't get the message, the exhaust adds a little extra horses, plus if you get the right one it sounds pretty sweet. I've seen a Supra, dual exhaust, dual "fart-cans" and it sounded deeper than a V-8 camaro with Borla exhaust.

for a while people have just been buying exhausts and they've been coming with that awful sound...but itz until recently that we have a choice as to what kind of sound we want....mine personally has a deep wide sound....but i don't rev at lights...that's just unless itz to a friend but the exhausts are just something that gives a lil more hp.....same as with flowmaster exhausts for domestics....seeing as u change change it....get over it and stop complaining....but u have the right to:argue:

I'm with you, reving at lights is basically stupid unless you know the person or if you and the other person are about to burn. There are some idiots out there buy an exhaust and go for the high pitched pissed off weed-eater sound, which is basically a waste of money. It does nothing for their engine, plus makes them look stupid. Just pay a few more dollars and get a high quality exhaust with a better sound.

My question is in regaurds to the big tail pipes are you all refering to the annoyiong rezzanators (SP?) or the true blue exaust systems?

I went hollywood pipes from the cat-back a.k.a straight pipes and then got a reasonable open muffler to quiet the sound and welded it to the straight pipes. It's not loud or an amazing fart cannon but I wanted to free up some of the torque in the accord. Plus I'm obsessed about curb weight and I gutted my car and removed about 150 lbs...the exhaust i put on was about 10lbs lighter. So that means that the stock exhaust is 10 pounds too heavy in my case. If you get a honda accord down to 2700 lbs it starts to stop better and accelerate quicker (every lb counts). I definitely hate the exhausts that sound like someone set a chainsaw loose in the engine or a bumble bee rattle, but let people fuck up there cars. I mean we don't have to drive around in them everyday. So if everyone jumped off a bridge would I? Of course I would there would be nobody fuckin left.
