Re: Recap of the North American F1 fleet

Hello! Long time since I've posted anything, but I had a question I was hoping some of you might be able to answer. I've never seen an F1 in person and I'm hoping to change that soon. I'm going to the St Petersburg Festival of Speed this weekend, and I was wondering if anyone knows about the F1's attendance at this event. Has there ever been an F1 at any of the previous events, and if so, do they attend regularly? Fingers crossed that this will be my lucky weekend!

St Petersburg, USA? There was #073 a few years back IIRC, and did #014 make an appearance or was that elsewhere? [my US geography isn't too hot....]

Yeah, St Petersburg, Florida USA. Cant say I'm too keen on geography either, but then again, not many American's are.

Re: Recap of the North American F1 fleet

I like geography more than geology and genealogy combined.

#073 is probably the only likely possibility for the St Petersberg Festival of Speed given its close proximity in Tampa. Mr Wallace's cars haven't been out to an event like that for about 5 years though, so I certainly wouldn't count on it.

#014 did the Palm Beach Supercar Show in 2008. That's the other coast of Florida, north of Miami and Fort Lauderdale.

Well, darn. Guess I can always keep my fingers crossed, though. If I do end up getting lucky, you can bet I'll take hundreds of photos of the car!

Re: Recap of the North American F1 fleet

You do have #022 in Naples and #003 in Sarasota, but those are also cars that don't seem to go anywhere.

Do you know who happens to own #003? I worked with someone at a Tampa hospital who said he's knows of an F1 in the Tampa area (not Don Wallace's) that is owned by the founder of Amscot bank (local bank in FL). He seemed pretty adamant about it...
