aight im a lil gone but lemme do this
alright, the dc2s have no respect in our books actually noone we know is carrying in a dc2 in their pocket. We know those cars aint got nothing but fully best cheat shit. But the MR-2 did own. Actually I never had a problem with understeer It felt like oversteer other than understeer. Id hit the inside wall because of dat shi... Anywho you people ready for the next shit?? Aiight here it goes After comming through the soft right after the soft left you stick as close as you can to the right side of the road. It would be on the wrong side of the road in japan so yeah. You continue on that short straight lining up to the inside of the turn. On yo left side you notice a yellow sign with an arrow thats your que. I love the game for this. You can feint! You combo your feint by pulling to the outside of the turn and going fast enough your gonna have to hurry and pull back in takeing the strategy known as outside-in-outside. You follow that route and combo your feint to a brake drift causing the early sideways to take you around the turn at awesome speeds!! 135 exit should do good! -to be continued- Im like ryouske compared to takumi i got the knowledge but i aint got the skillz take got da skillz but no knowledge. Whos seen the current eps for stage four? Would have tak won if it wasnt for the amazingly car understanding expert like ryouske? Hell nah. With out him Takumi lost. |

Re: Initial D by Sega Rosso
my bad i read my post then went back forgot to answer a question. Never ever ever ever ride the gutters! Its like standing to close to a black hole you get sucked in. Before you know it you got sparks, paint, and metal flying offa yo car. Losing major speeds. Ride the gutter at the apex maybe a lil before and maybe a lil after. Never ride it too long. You lose lotsa times.
Thanks toyota_trueno_03 you get mad props on yo knowledge people gotta know theres real life physics added to this shit. I can fake the heel toe in it. Its great. Im the only person with a turbo in that game that makes it blow off everytime i let go of the gas...awesome stuff...its as close to real life as it gets |

Re: Initial D by Sega Rosso
if you don't take the gutter you lose two things stability and speed. you are a lot more stable taking the gutter at a high speed (for example S turn in cp2 on akina) otherwise you'll bash the wall. then lets say turns like RHOD (turn after the S-turn to the right) which is one of the most important turns on akina, taking it slow would mean sacraficing your cp2 and cp3 time.
and no, arcade stage has NOTHING to do with the movies/series that are out right now. tsuchizaka and shomaru are apart of the MANGA. they only really have two stages left that are already playable in id special stage for ps2, shin myogi and shin usui. if they follow their current rate they always add two stages. version1>2 (irohazaka and akagi) version2>3 (tsuchizaka and shomaru) version3>4 is probably gonna be the true myogi/usui. not to mention there isn't really any logic to that "fourth stage? fourth arcade version" they are probably gonna further the anime if the fan-base is good for stage 4 in japan. edit: well i mean the series is based off the manga but i mean they are basing the arcade stage off of the manga and not really the series... |

Re: Initial D by Sega Rosso
I didnt understand one thing you said...cp2? RHOD? Can you clear this stuff up for me? Im a little confused.
Man Initial D Fourth Stage is the shit. The next two episodes are out in japan sometime this week or sometime this month. Its awesome so far. The battles on Happo! Jesus christ its amazing. They show a crazy battle between the styles of grip driving and drifting. And oh man the battle between Takumi and Tohru! Jaw dropping. I'll wait a few more sends before I add the information for the next turn on Akinas Downhill |

Re: Initial D by Sega Rosso
RHOD = "Right Hand Of Death"
It's a turn on Akina, that's all I know. From what I can tell, I'm practically the ONLY person in my town that still uses the 86, see below. And unfortuneately, I still use some of the same techniques I learned back in V.1 but I'm not suer if I'm getting any better.

Re: Initial D by Sega Rosso
Sweet, nice times. My skills are still giving me finish times of 3'14" I mess up at the first set of hairpins and that messes me up at the S-turns. I once almost got my time really good on there. I was going 160 before the first S-turn I did it well but then I missed the gutter on the next S-turn and scrapped the wall. I jus stood at 158 throughout the whole way my times would've been incredible...At least three seconds shaved off

Re: Initial D by Sega Rosso
And even worse, I still have the 3' 14-15" times on Akina DH. I'm trying to find specific videos about how to take the best in the Version 3. I still have some vids of people playing Versions 1 and some of 2.

Re: Initial D by Sega Rosso
dc2 DO require skill just a lot of non-skilled (noobs) play them in version 2, which is fine. in version 3 its worse as far as battles with the no "invisible barrier" so you get right behind their bumper. ESPECIALLY on stages like shomaru. your opponent could eat the wall the WHOLE turn and still be in front, compared to dc2 noobs, this is a lot worse. especially against six-gear cars.
and 3'04 is not really that good (no offense)... full tune knocks down about 3-4 seconds off your stock time. which means you'd have to get rocket start to get under 3 minutes. unless you improve your technique. there is only one way anyone is fast at akina and its the same in all the versions, feinting with 5-in-4 out. learn that, it'll knock off A LOT off your time hence you can use it on every turn and helps you come out a little bit faster than usual. |

Re: Initial D by Sega Rosso
No, the 3' 4" time was in Version 1 with the full A tuned Trueno. I had 100K - 150k poiknts I think before I switched to Version 3.
The problem that I'm trying to correct is to try not to use the gutters as much as I used to. Unlike Ver.1, it's VERY easy to grind against the wall and lose tones of speed when you use the gutters. I've been practicing to use them on the 5 hairpins to see if it would get me faster times, but it's proving to not be. I'm just gonna abandon the gutters on the 5 hairpins since I seem to come out of the last one, right before the S-curces, at 110-115kph. EDIT

Re: Initial D by Sega Rosso
the fastest time is 2'52 on version 1 on the internet rankings. i believe the internet rankings for version 3 are 2'55, therefor its harder to get lower on version 3.
and if the gutters aren't improving your time, you must be using them wrong. tell me what you do and i'll try to help you. |
