I've hit 150 in my dad's beamer, however, in my car i've hit and maintained 120 or so racing a Jetta coming out of downtown cleveland

It was a Protege GT, with 160+ hp, and it went 150. Those are some nice cars, man. My advice: Get a WRX STi next

My speedometer only goes up to 125, but I got the needle to start bouncing around at 125 in my Neon. So I'm guessing I was doing about 130 on the highway.

I have 2 cars, an 82 Z28 305 auto that I hit like 130 in, and a 92 Nissan Sanza that I just recently hit 130 in as well

Ive done 150 in my 74 vette speedo said 160 but i figured i was doing about 150. And you dont have balls of steel until you go that fast with a crapy suspension and almost bald tires on the front.

About 255 kph ( 150 mph) in '94 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.

It felt like about 80. Car was amazingly stable at that speed.

180 mph on a Yamaha Genisis 1000. Thats the fastest I have ever gotten but in a car I would say around 150 or so in my dads 92 Z28 but I can't be sure if that number is corect because the speedo only went up to 130 I believe but I had the needle buried way past that.

yeah Porsche cars are really stable at high speeds
