There is no one who I would rather get the opportunity to see this car than you Patrick.

I will send you a PM.

It is indeed chassis #012, purchased by an Italian living in Geneva 4-5 years ago but it has only just arrived there. That leaves me somewhat confident that it was the car seen sitting at COX Racing in Japan.

It has not been serviced for many years (not sure how many) so there will be some work required for sure. I won't publish the asking price here, but it is way up there. If anyone needs to know, PM me.

Thrilled to see this car again and to know it is still original. It has been off the radar for sooo long.

I thought that 012 was in the same garage as 23R in Canada...So I missed something. What is the car owned by LS in Canada (also owner of Ferrari 250 GTO, 250 TR, 330 P4 and others....) ?

Re: Recap of European F1 Fleet (EXCLUDING England)

That is my fault.

I had always assumed that Lawrence Stroll's road car was either one rescued from the Brunei collection or perhaps was #012 sourced from Japan. It turns out that both of those assumptions were incorrect. I do have the chassis number -- in fact the full VIN -- of his car now but it was shared with me in confidence and I'm not able to spread the word yet unfortunately.

For those who pay decent attention to the cars around the world there are not many other possibilities left that it could be so you might be able to work it out on your own. I can tell you with certainty that it is not #004, #057 or #066 which are a few of the cars that we haven't talked about much around here.

By far, I don't have your expertise. My conclusion is that it could be 052....

Yes - that is one possibility it could be. I'd like to think that car is sitting somewhere still wearing its original Dark Blue Mica paint though.

I think we finally decided that was #037 hiding over in that corner.

Re: Recap of European F1 Fleet (EXCLUDING England)

Yeah - we went back and forth on it being #010 or #037 but I thought we settled on the latter. I will have to check again as my brain does occasionally get things twisted and I was drawing from memory when I said that.

Re: Recap of European F1 Fleet (EXCLUDING England)

The year would probably clinch it because #010 had tumbled through a field in 1999 and I still don't believe it was ever repaired.
