I turned off the PS2 at 2.30am this morning and thought I wonder whats on TV, It turned on one of our 4 channels, and saw the BBC coverage about 10mins after the 2nd tower had collapsed.
I was totaly amased, and totaly shocked.
I went to bed about 3hrs latter after watching both BBC, CNN and ABC that were all shown and are still being shown here.
Im amazed Peter Jennings is still on ABC, he was there looking very tired when it happened, now he looks like walking dead, but they've just stoped a Truck in New Jersy which is apprently filled with explosives, and there reporting 900 dead in the pentagon. And No. 7 world trade also collapsed.

No one will ever know how many were killed in the WTC.

Its an attack on one of not only americas symbols of power but a symbol of the power of capitalism, and economic globalisation.

The rest of the world is equally shocked, and is concerned, Twin towers in Singapore have been evacuated, and im sure similar steps have been taken all over the world in comercialy sensitive areas.

We are all with you on this, this is as much a global catastrophe as an American one. Remember this day everybody, it marks a major change in our global history, far greater than anything else since WWII.

To me these are the words are of a scared toddler who has just been threatened by a bully. Not traits I would look for in such a powerful leader. Right now more than ever he needs to be STRONG and CALM, and lead America and the Western World in acting the same way.

This was not a signle counrty that attacked the US, but a small group of Terrorists, you cant send the army after them, and you cant drop bombs on them, because they dont exist as a single geographicly located group.

ABC is currently showing footage from the site, theres nothing there but piles of rubble, and a few small isolated spots of fire. Through the smoke and dust can just be seen a stump of one of the towers. And a skelton of the Fascade of the other tower.

haha that's funny, cause george w. bush did act strong and calm. It looks like he has everything under control, on every news channel they're complimenting on his actions today.
