Re: Recap of European F1 Fleet (EXCLUDING England)

They were shared by the original photographer on SupercarFrance.com. I would link you but the forum is private and requires an activation approval when you register. If you would like that I am certain I can make arrangements for you to get in.

Otherwise I can add sharing the original images to my growing 'To-Do' list. No trouble and someone else (wink, wink Greg) might even beat me to it.

You are, as they say over there, a "top bloke" Mr Hurst.

I didn't even have the blurry one at the bottom I don't think.

Cannes IIRC from earlier discussions?

I'd imagine these are all of the very few photos of it?

Re: Recap of European F1 Fleet (EXCLUDING England)

There is one more pic in my Do Not Share folder, but apart from that, the rest in my #048 folder are of the car believed to be #048 'in build'......

Re: Recap of European F1 Fleet (EXCLUDING England)

Yes Cannes from what I recall. Registration on the car is from the Fribourg area of Switzerland. I can assure you these are not photos of #036 so the next logical guess would be #048.

Re: Recap of European F1 Fleet (EXCLUDING England)

They've got some amazing cars for sale at Carugati.

Including one of the Elise GT1 race cars that hasn't been seen for years.

OMG - that looks like chassis #012!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With a January 1994 build date - it just has to be!

Only 1,650 Kms - no wonder it has not been seen for all these years! Drivers seat insert is red, exterior paint is Dark Silver just like the Tag Heuer car. Looks a bit rough too. Maybe it is just the photo?

Patrick - buddy, old pal... how soon can you be there if you leave right now?

Re: Recap of European F1 Fleet (EXCLUDING England)

Well a friend in the neighborhood () made the call for me.

It is indeed chassis #012, purchased by an Italian living in Geneva 4-5 years ago but it has only just arrived there. That leaves me somewhat confident that it was the car seen sitting at COX Racing in Japan.

It has not been serviced for many years (not sure how many) so there will be some work required for sure. I won't publish the asking price here, but it is way up there. If anyone needs to know, PM me.

Thrilled to see this car again and to know it is still original. It has been off the radar for sooo long.
