Re: Re: Progress~ Hasegawa Honda Civic Ferio 4 door; Turbo

Crap, i just found a little chip by the right side rear door I might have to strip the paint, or just leave the chip. Its pretty hard to notice but it bugs me knowing that it has a chip Its right by where the rear door and front door meet. I might try to hide it with the panel lines Jeez, i only have 6 days left! Will i meet the deadline!!! DUN DUN DUN!

If it is small enough, you can take a very fine paintbrush and touch it up. If the color is the same, and there is a panel line along it, it should go unnoticeable.

Do you have a paint respairator? if you do, the paint fumes won't bother you at all Do you have tamiya flat aluminum? you could just brush paint the lights, but it probably won't turn out as good. Anayway, hope you get it done.

Re: Progress~ Hasegawa Honda Civic Ferio 4 door; Turbo

Well disaster strikes again! I was able to fix the chip on the rear door...So just when i thought things were going to go smooth i fuck up badly! So i go to mask up the windows to paint them, everything is going good...when i go to remove the mask all i see is paint on the tape. Yup, the paint lifted off. I seriously have no clue why this happend. The paint was more than dried by now This was my best paint job sooo far! I nailed its almost everywhere! Got the paint to shine in places that i never thought i could polish without running through the paint Oh well, next week i might pick up the DOT3 and stick this bitch there for a good while and forget about it until summer Sorry guys As for the R32...I really doubt i will finish it, i have too much going on in school and my cousin is coming over from my country so we are going to get high about 95% of the time so I wont be able to think Just kidding Or am I? Just kidding again Here are pictures of how the paint was...next time i might paint this car red If i find Milano Red by then I hope that next time i do it even better Sorry everyone I feel like shit This is what happens when you rush things Damn how many sad smilies did i put here I was thinking of sanding those spots down and retouching it with the airbrush, but that would build up on the window sill detail SHIT! < Am i allowed to say that

R.I.P to this thread...It will be resurected in the summer

Re: Progress~ Hasegawa Honda Civic Ferio 4 door; Turbo

Thread is dead? Bull. This is the Honda club meeting place. Really too bad about the paint, I thought this model was going great and was going to turn out stellar. I am sure it still will whenever you get around to finishing it. Thanks for the ride, Joeham, even if it ended a bit early.
