Re: Recap of the North American F1 fleet

A pic of 014 that I'm not sure has been shared before.

The dimensions look a bit off, if you ask me. Not too sure whether the car was put onto a background, but that's the feeling I get when looking at the lines.

Most definitely - the original photo was taken inside the SVAG showroom and then a lot of work was put into it to hide that fact.

Re: Recap of the North American F1 fleet

Chassis #028 was displayed at the unveiling of the MP4-12C in Beverly Hills tonight.

Very kind of Mr Price to loan them his car since he's getting the dealership up North.

Re: Recap of the North American F1 fleet

Nope, not the only one. There's another red one hidden away in Singapore that has a black interior. Also chassis #004 was originally painted red. I strongly believe it was built for the Brunei Royal Family, but it did not appear on the Brunei garage list and has never been located to my knowledge. There have been rumors over the years of a red one in a private collection in Monaco, and another rumor that Force India team owner, Vijay Mallya, owns it now but nothing more than that.

Re: Recap of the North American F1 fleet

Is that Singapore one possibly #021? At least it had dark grey or black interior as it was photographed in the Park Lane show room in 1995. Also isn't the #042 currently red with red/black interior?

Wasn't that list just one of their garages? Like, one fifth of their collection or something?

Or is that considered to be their entire car collection (as of whatever year it was published... What year was it published???)

'Yes' on your first question. 'Duh' on your second point - my brain was only thinking of original cars.

That's how it was explained. So if a car was not in Garage #5 or was in another part of the world it wouldn't have been on that list.

Re: Recap of the North American F1 fleet

Updated the first post with new owner info for #062 who introduced himself on another forum.

I also added a spot for the newest F1 to arrive in the USA - chassis #066 which was previously an 'unknown'. So far no photos of it yet, but hopefully we'll get some soon. I'm also hopeful we'll learn something about the car's history.

I made a few other minor tweaks to the text for some of the other chassis numbers just to keep things in line with current info.

Re: Recap of the North American F1 fleet

Just looking at the original post again.

Has anything been seen of #19R since it came to the UK?
