Re: 13r

Fantastic to see a GTR all stripped down like that, I may just have to make a push to get to Goodwood this year.

I think we're seeing something significantly more special than an SLR there. More like a Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe - likely 'CSX 2300' pictured below which Lanzante prepped for last year's Goodwood Revival and it took top honors in the RAC TT.

Note the bracket at the top of the a-pillar, the number light on the door skin and the much more prominent duckbill spoiler than you would find on an SLR.

Re: 13r

I'm just a good guesser.

Also, after making that post I also came across another photo Andy had shared back in January on PH.com which makes it a bit more obvious:

Re: 13r

amazing! Still looks like a very modern car although its almost 20 years old.

I will be at the FoS (trying to get press access but otherwise as a normal visitor)

Hope to see you Andy.

Will you also be at Supercar Sunday next week? (in person or other car?)

Re: 13r

Ah it looks even more amazing with the final touches added, little things like the yellow marks on either side of the visor at the top look fantastic.

Re: 13r

Sadly an Instagram photo so the quality isn't so hot and the resolution is minimal, but I still liked this photo:
