How to remove instrument cluster on a 2001 Rodeo

I have a 2001 Rodeo. Lights does not come on instrument panel, checked the fuses all good. Must be burned out bulbs. How do I remove the instrument cluster to change the bulbs. Can anyone help.

Thanks.

Re: How to remove instrument cluster on a 2001 Rodeo

It should be the same as on a '99. HERE is a write up I did on installing glow gauges with all the steps for removing the gauge cluster. Also check the light dimmer on the left side of the dash. If someone turned it down or if its bad the guage lights wont work.

Gizmo your the greatest bro. When I took off the instrument cluster per your instructions. I found that the wire connected to the dimmer switch was off. It looks like someone took the dash apart before and forgot to hook up the dimmer wire. This site rocks and thanks to Gizmo once again, couldn't of done it without you man !!! next round of beer on me.... he he he

Re: How to remove instrument cluster on a 2001 Rodeo

My dash lights went out 1 time, headlights another, just driving beams, not fog lights, both were fuses my Rodeo 2000. There are 2 locations for fuses, panel to left of steering wheel, bit low, one under hood. Refer to fuse diagram to determine number and where located
