2018 Grand Cherokee Laredo Towing Capacity???
Just bought a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 3.6l, I was told by salesman with factory towing package vehicle has 6,200lbs towing capacity. Every search online I find says towing capacity is 3,500lbs, 6,200lbs when properly equipped. I can't find online what properly equipped means, is factory towing package properly equipped? I bought this vehicle so I can get a pontoon next summer, I want to make sure it can tow over 3,500lbs.

The 3.6 with the tow package is 6200.
