97 JGC Coolant Low Alarm-PC Board Cold Solder Angle

I’ve finally had enough of the Coolant Low alarm on the HUD. At one point it was suggested that the problem might be a cold solder on the PC board where the leads from the sensor come from the plug.
The leads at the sensor are Red/Black Tracer and Black. Looking at the harness plug, it appears the only Red/Black Tracer and Black are in opposite diagonal corners of the plug. Does anyone out there have any actual experience dealing with this particular problem? Do you recall that being the correct layout? Have any other pertinent information about this condition?
I’d sure like to hear about it...
