Dealer in Eureka CA said it's needed to be driven more. Car is 32 days old 800 mi and has full fluid in battery and full charge.

Re: 2017 CRV battery dieing in one week

I do not know much about batteries.

My son's Pilot battery kept dying - his wife was doing a lot of short trips. He installed a new battery and, as far as I understand, without changing his lifestyle, the battery does not fail anymore.

How about batteries that sit on the shelves for months and are still good when you put them in the vehicle?

Try to go to Autozone and ask if they can perform a load test on your battery. I would not just trust the dealer. I think I have seen a load tester at Harbor Freight for about thirty dollars. You can buy it and test the battery yourself.

Good luck,
Sam

You need to have a parasitic draw test performed to figure out what is drawing power.

Dealer did the test checked OK dead the next day and two days later. Had a problem with a 2000 nothing on 2014 but 2017 is an issue maybe it's time for a Toyota.

You have 3/36 coverage. Let the dealership deal with it. If not, contact Honda.

Sorry you had issues with your Honda......

Our Toyota dealer is a JOKE & I have ties with a wonderful Honda tech, he is top notch.

Best of luck....all of my Toyotas (all used at purchase) were flawless.
