Re: a problem instruments bouncing around

Well I did manage to bypass the cluster, got power to the ignition coil and got the motor to start. It ran for 5 minutes then quit again. That blasted passive anti theft system killed the power to the fuel pump. The bloody passive anti theft system thinks someone is trying to hot-wire and steal the van. Big Toe (the place that I got the van from) came and towed it back to there place to have there mechanic try to fix it and he couldn't. So now I have a 2008 Pontiac Torrent all wheel drive SUV that just got released from police impound storage at Big Toe. It drives like a dream. And with the air conditioning on full blast it is like driving a rolling refrigerator.

But I can only work on the van a few hours in the early morning when it is cool outside. I over heat very easy, a side effect of the med's that I take.
