Why is Tesla more valuable than Ford and GM?
Can someone please explain to me why?

Re: Why is Tesla more valuable than Ford and GM?
This is based on market capitalization which is the value of the company on the stock market, ie the number of shares and their price.
The recorded sales and profits for Ford and GM are much higher, but Tesla's stock is worth more. This is because of how Wall Street sees its future potential. Hope that helps! I was having a chat about this with some friends the other day, maybe someone else can go a bit more in-depth. |

Tesla is just the most innovative environmental endowment in history plus people want innovation not degradation. That's why stock markets and people choose Tesla over massive brands like Ford and GM.

They cant meet the demand if they had plants like Ford or GM, they probably wouldn't lose any money. Also I am sure they make it up from other businesses. The PR Tesla brings for the company is also pretty big.
