Weird noise from inside dashboard
Hi, when I first switch on power key, clima follows auto or manual settings and starts to pump air up/down.. wherever i did set it up. To move this diverter I guess it's an activator that really clanks making a pretty strong noise. Is this correct? Shall I replace the activator only? Is it a pain to reach it into the dashboard?

Re: Weird noise from inside dashboard
Yes the actuator has been a common problem on these trucks. Google the procedure, there is a shortcut now.

Re: Weird noise from inside dashboard
Thanks Max.. but this is too bad. Not happy about quality of this car. Sensors, brakes, rear diff, gas pedal, coils, etc etc.. and my wife is driving it, not an 18 years old crazy boy.
By the way, what do you mean as google the procedure? This shortcut is it to replace it faster or just to cut wires and forget it..? |

Re: Weird noise from inside dashboard
There is a newer easier way to replace the actuator, Google replace trailblazer HVAC actuator.
