2015 rogue towing
I like the 2015 rogue but noticed that it has a maximum towing rating of 1000 pounds. I was surprised as most of the 4 cyl cvt transmission SUVs are rated at 1500 pounds.
I have a 1500 pound boat that I tow for short distances (10miles) in Florida. I am wondering if the rogue would have a problem ?

I think you'd be safe for short distances, especially since there's no such thing as a mountain in Florida. ;-) I had a little Nissan pickup in 1983 that towed my belongings from Texas to California, a double-axle U-Haul that must have weighed at least a ton.
