07 chevy colorado 5 cyl
I have a colorado 07 5cyl. the problem im having is when I go to stop the engines rpm drops to 500rpms then goes back up to 1000rpms. Tthe lights also dim and surge.... If anyone can help me I would really appriciate it....

Check your battery cables for clean and tight. Most auto parts stores will do free load testing on your battery and alternator charging issues.
How old is your battery? Does it do it in park just stepping on the brake?
