Power driver seat failure...

...in my 2001 STS. Here's the story...
...the power driver seat has worked on and off intermittently over the last couple years. But it always failed in my regular seat position which was good since I'm a big guy. It has always started working again after a few days or weeks. Last week, after not driving the car for a few days, the battery went dead. I jumped it, ran it for a while, but was dead again in the morning. Battery wouldn't hold a charge so I bought a new one. When I hooked it up, the driver seat started moving and didn't stop until it was all the way forward. Car started right up but...you guessed it...the seat won't move at all and is now stuck in such a forward position that I can't even slide into it.

Anybody ever had a similar problem or know how I might fix this - even if just to move the seat back so I can get in and drive it?
