I see no point for transparent hoods. They just make any model look toy-ish

Changed the dials from stock black to white. So now everything is more visible from outside

To make it a bit different, the windows are gone!

Wiring needs to be completed. I'll post completed pics of the completed engine bay soon.

Re: Tam Skyline R32 GTR with engine details and few extras

coming along very nicely indeed!

i especially like all the additional detail to the engine bay so i'll wait with anticipation for your new photos.

in the last photo the color seems to have blue/purple with the lighting and/or camera flash, is this how it looks in natural sunlight?
what paint have you used?

Re: Tam Skyline R32 GTR with engine details and few extras

Great WIP thread you have, the wiring and pipings for the engine bay is a great touch up to the kit. Would prefer some outdoor shots to see the navy purple under ample light. Is this going to be wingless?

Thanks. I'll try to make the engine bay look as much as possible to the real thing, afterall the RB26 deserves respect.

About the photo you mentioned, upfront that is what the color looks like. My camera since its no SLR, only picks up the real color under sunlight or with the flash. Used a Korean rattle can and even the name of the brand printed on it isn't english let alone other details, pure KDM lol. I know its korean coz thats what the hardware store guy said . I'll post some outdoor pics soon
