I hate the prices on smaller tattoos like that, I feel like once you get into the "by the hour" pieces you actually get a much better deal. While I was in the shop last time two 18 year old lezzies came in wanting tiny little dime sized crosses on their shoulders. She literally sat down for 3 minutes with each of them, then took $300 (150 each minimum shop charge). After they left we joked about it, she said said "hey, those jobs are what pay the bills"

A few hours later while I was handing her stacks of cash I figured that probably helped pay some bills too....

The original rendition of the demon was better but he didnt do an all around horrible job on it. The tri-blade/gay pride/flux capacitor is where he did his worst work. The outline is uneven and he got sloppy filling in the dark of the middle and the indentations around the edge.

You know, I've had the issue of "I really want this NOW" with tattoos too... so I've actually booked time in the future with my artist, but with no set plan of what I'm getting. Gives me time to think about it, then when I decide I don't have to wait 2-3 months out for booking.

Plus the shop I go to, if you keep regular appointments like that, they offer pretty awesome Christmas discounts to loyal customers

Haaaaa not a bad idea at all! I might go ahead and do that since I do already have an idea of the next three or four pieces that I want done.

Im guessing those stars are in white ink and not UV? I have some UV tat ideas I want also

Yeah those are white ink, not UV. Done them myself back in college.
