my 100% stock 2001 celica gt. I had it down a hill at 140mph. motor went silent. rev limiter cut in. flat straight 136-137mph. Cuts through the wind like a knife. have 230,000 mi. on car now. 5spd. weights 2,300 lbs. bought a used 2008 motor. last year (2013) in it now with 44,000. (blew the original motor 195,000. still made it back to the house). 50 miles out. gts has got to be able to hit 145 mph easy. down a hill 150 mph. just like the guy in germany said.. I also have an 1980 celica gt. 20 R motor. 5spd Celica. some mods. 22r tranny. 22r rear end. header, lighter fly wheel, stage 3 clutch.weber carb. 8 mm wires. msd coil. vacuumless dist. all vacuum lines blocked.elec fan. (i hardly ever use) i can run it up too. 7,500 rpm in 2nd gear EASY! " no rev limiter". "75" mph. flat straight. still have 3 more to grab. (still have the car). and it starts up every time. org alt. orig starter. 128,000 orginal mi. zero rust
