The stock projection light lenses didn't look like the real thing to me so made a few changes.

Had to take the headlight cover out & then the lenses. Repainted the headlight housing.

While I was at it, I managed to fit a mesh grill in the front bumper.

Chromed out the lenses using aluminum foil. The super small size of the lenses made it very difficult to get this job done. Just see the size of these freakin lenses in comparison to a cotton swab.

The end result after going thru all this trouble

Yeah the decal is ruined.
But I guess the overall looks improved and the headlights now look more accurate

Here ya go.

It's a horrible kit but decent for parts. Can be found pretty easily online.

Hey thanks for the link but to tell you the truth the hood in that kit is just dreadful . I've seen TD3000 hoods on a couple of 1:1 Supras first hand and the AMT/ERTL kit's hood is not even close to the real one.

I've been working on making one myself for last few days and this is what I've achieved so far. I just need to stick some mesh underneath and its done. It might not be 100% accurate but at least better then the AMT Supra's hood and it didn't cost a dime.

So am I right or wrong?

Feels good when people post comments about the build (probably since its is my first one), negative or positive doesn't matter.

Thanks buddy.
