Camero chassis for my Firebird

I want to keep my Bird I have had since 86 . I have painted it 5 times, rebuildt engine with stronger crank, installed higher rear end, rear clip, front inner wheel well. It has over 300,000 miles but the chassis is shot through with rust. I can get an 85-86 Camero with good unibody. Will the Camero chassis be an exact replacement for the Bird's chassis? Thanks in advance, Frank

I just heard from Eric at Just Answer that the 3rd generation Firbirds and Cameros are all interchangeable.
