Plymouth Supervision Petty Yearone tribute

The build won't be an exact replica, just a starting point. Base kit is a monogram Superbird, and the donor for most of the race pieces is an old AMT Thunderbird stock car. The Plymouth is 1:24, and the Ford is 1:25. I would have preferred the ford to be 24th as well, but for four dollars I won't complain.

So far I have opened up the rear tubs to accommodate the wider nascar slicks, and have adapted the ford rear suspension and axle to fit as well. I'll be using the Plymouth 440, just to keep it mopar. Mine will only have one seat(from a viper) so I'll scratchbuild most of the interior to represent aluminum panels. I was going to flip the ford rear wing to use as a front splitter, but I think I may build an entire lower valence to fit under the nose cone. Under the hood I will build a tube frame in place of the inner fenders. This will let me lower the front suspension to where I want.
