Hello guys, I'm new to this forum. please forgive me for my Italian, but I am Italian and speaking little English to help me do the translation services.
I discovered this forum because of my passion for American muscle car.
I want to present my first job ever. This is the kit shelby mustang GT 350 H revell.

the work is already completed but I will present the work I've done. I allowed some customization work and please do not be offended, indeed I hope that you enjoy the result ....

to color the carpet inside the car I made a color combining with the matte black and metallic aluminum, the result was a semi opaque gray metallic:

I was very pleased with the final result:

completed the entire portion of the passenger compartment and underbody came the turn of the body. As for the rear windows, I decided to replace them with the vents inside the kit that although they belong to the model fastback think you inserissero well in this version, at least for a taste:

Once the paint dried I could finally polish the body and the hood and prepare the pieces for coloring the edges of windows and for the application of decals

Congratulations on finishing your model and posting a very detailed work in progress.

Overall it looks pretty good. You could probably improve some detail painting with thinner paint or using an airbrush.

Keep on modeling and sharing your work. ;-)

Re: Revell - Shelby Mustang GT350H 1:24

thank you very much

Yeah, unfortunately some colors, such as metallic silver were too doughy and risulato statato is suddenly too grainy and inaccurate.

I tried to document every passage of the processing, in order to obtain a complete and clear wip and I am very happy that possesses appreciated!

Re: Revell - Shelby Mustang GT350H 1:24

Molto Bella! Good job on your first build. I have this kit also, my wife got it for me during my recuperation from cancer, but I couldn't put my heart into it. I have since stripped the crappy paint job, but alas, it is still awaiting some attention.

Later,
Lee

For a first model this is not bad at all. Ofcourse their are many points that could be better. But you learn by doing! Keep up the good work!
