Code 44 & 45 at same time
I have a 93 Corsica 3.1 with 73k. Once driven until hot & after sitting for an hour, when I restart the engine, it starts chugging & Service engine light comes on. I turn it off & restart & its O.K.- No chugging & no light. I get a 44 & 45 code (lean exhaust & rich exhaust) Just replaced 3 coils, spark plug wires. Still have a problem. Has anyone had a code 44 & 45 at the same time?
Thanks |

Re: Code 44 & 45 at same time
Need an O2 sensor, or Possible ECM?
Is this a single wire? Old trick was, install a jumper in the harness to the ECM side, not to the O2 sensor side.....grab other end of jumper, and then with other hand, touch the neg battery post....scan tool should read low, around 0.100 on scan tool for O2 data....then touch pos bolt....should read around 0.900 volts on O2 data......this checks out the circuit and ECM..... |
