2007 Ford Five Hundred engine noise
I have a 2007 Five Hundred with about 115,000 miles on it. I'm getting a really strange noise from the engine when the transmission is in park and the car is idling. It sounds like something loose in the engine but it goes away when I put the car in drive. While driving forward there's another sound almost like a whining (sounds like "rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr") that increases in pitch when the speed increases.
I'd really appreciate any comments or suggestions. |
