2003 dodge neon oil indicator light

i was driving on a muddy road and i went to turn u a road and the car kind of slid and the oil light come on for bout a minute and went off and has never come back on i checked the oil it was good up on the full mark could the car sliding have a effect or mud getting around the sensor effect it
