2011 Sorento EX AWD

Just would like to see how many people purchased this SUV I did, and so far like it, price is right, And any issues so far, I have one, a thumping in the front right going over bumps, I have to investigate further, the dealer is being a wise arsh, said they are all like that.. not a good answer,
please post any issues here, This is my first new vehicle, and I hope I made the right chioce, ratings have gone up.. thanks for any input.

I am pretty sure I can take it to any dealer, to check it out

That thump is your strut mount. If you're having problems from the service guy, go to the dealership head. If no satisfaction there call KIA motors and get the ball rolling.

Franco thanks the head guys is not any better, I notice the thumping
over both tires on the right side, like I said the left is fine.. the truck pulls to the right a little when I let go of the wheel, i will keep u updated

They aren't lying when they say all the new Sorentos have strut noise. There is supposedly a fix in the works but until that comes out, the dealership won't do anything for you on it.

Rah I wonder why it is only on the passenger side then,, sounds like an easy fix if they know what it is, copy the driver side, do you have a sorento also with the same problem? anyway glad I am not the only one.
I tried sending a message to Kia motors, you have to put in the vin,
and it won't take mine, says it has to begin with KN what is with that mine does not,,, weird thanks for the reply

I stand corrected - the new sorento does not start with KN like just about every other KIA. It is probably a lack of updating on KIAs part as far as the messaging goes.

My wife and I bought a used 2007 KIA in 2008, in Redding, Ca. When we moved to Ga, I drove it here, we had had it in the service dept there several times, with no luck. When we got to LaGrange, Ga, took it to local dealer.WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!

Keep looking, you have a lousy service dept

the 2011 kia sorento had a recall on strut assemblies, if there is an ongoing issue with it you should take it to your dealer, if they refuse to service under warranty, take it to a different dealer.
