Recently bought a 2010 Traverse LS FWD w/42k on it.
If I buckle up when leaving the garage, the seat belt light will not go out on the dash. In fact, it will stay lit for about a mile and then flash and ding at me again for 30 seconds or so. Sometimes if I unbuckle and rebuckle as soon as the light stops flashing and stays solid, the light will go out. But most of the time, it doesn't. It will eventually go out a few minutes later though. Anyone had any trouble with this or heard of anything like this? I'd take it in to the Chevy dealer, however the factory bumper-bumper warranty is past due to mileage, and the extended b2b warranty that I purchased has a $100 deductible. Any thoughts? it's not that the seatbelts aren't working, but it sure is annoying. |

Re: 2010 Traverse Seat Belt Warning Light
Had one doing the same thing, had to replace the buckle.
