2004 Canyon - Wont Start After Boosting

I was boosting a truck with my truck, I followed all the steps in the owners manual yet when I made the last connection with the cables there was a spark and then my truck shut off and started quick, I turned the key to the off position but the truck kept running, when I hit the brake it shut off and now it wont start, the battery is fine, all the lights work but there is no other noise coming from the engine such as the starter clicking in and out. Also when I turn the key to aux. power my message center says brake/abs fault. Whats wrong with my truck? 2004 GMC CANYON

Re: 2004 Canyon - Wont Start After Boosting

I can't tell what happened? Any applicable trouble codes? To check codes yourself, at the least, you need an obd2 code reader, that will work with your vehicle.

Check the starter wiring circuits.
