84 GTI starts then stalls.

I have an 84 GTI with the 8V. If i start it, it starts normally, then dies right away, after that, i have to let it sit awhile or it wont even start normally. New injectors, New fuel dizzy, checked the Idle valve, checked fuel pump relay, fuell pressure seems to be ok. PLEASE HELP! or come fix it so my g/f leaves me alone about her rabbit.

have you played with the air/fuel adjustment??? its a 3mm allen adjustment screw between the distributor and the intake boot. also check the idle adjustment screw in the back of the throttle body. make sure it hasnt fallen out. hope this helps!!!
