Oil Pressure drops at warm idle
Hi
I replaced my hopelessly leaking oil pressure sending unit on my 84 Sunbird. I have the 1.8 turbo engine. When I start it, pressure is good. After driving for about 30 minutes, it drops into the red zone at idle. I only have 14K on a rebuilt long block, but it was rebuilt back in 93. I did not notice this before the sending unti switch, but I was not driving the car as much either. Any help appreciated. |
