Help! Egr valve
I have a 2000 Pontiac Firebird and i cant find the dang EGR valve to save my life. Im normally a 4.3 fan so this is my first 3.8. It is acting really doggy when you get into the throttle and it smelled like rotten eggs which makes me think that it is the catalytic convertor. I am trying not to spend that kind of money so i went with a basic tune-up......(plugs, wires, all new coils) and the only other thing that i can think of is that it is the egr valve or the catalytic converter, only problem is i cant figure it out. I ran the codes myself and they show up as follows P0404, P0405, P0442, P0446, P1404, AND P0300. If anyone can help i would be grateful, thanks!

Re: Help! Egr valve
Nevermind. But if anyone needs to find it it is directly in front of the left header.
