'91 Capri hesitation problem

Car will bog slightly when you give it gas quickly. If you gradually give it gas it will accelerate smoothly but any sudden throttle and it seems to bog or miss. Noone...not even the local Ford dealer said they can work on it. Said they didn't know/have computer codes. Sounds like they just didn't want to work on it.

Re: '91 Capri hesitation problem

Auto Zone and Advanced give free computer code scans. Pep Boys do computer code scans but charge. Aamco transmission gives free scans in the Atlanta area.
Sometimes the throttle position sensor goes bad on these cars but the engine speed usually goes up and down on its own.
