Very cool!

In looking through them again though - there is something which is of great historical significance that is missing from the post. Sort of a glaring omission in light of some recent events.

Who will be the first to figure it out?

There are also some images that are now misplaced, or at least I could argue their current placing.

1: the last image of "11R" from the front is actually 18R most likely in Brazil 2 hours (race number 01, as 11R had the usual #9 in all BPR 1996 races, both Brazilian events were invitational BPR races outside of the championship)

2: the first Gulf-liveried car in the 12R-section (3rd image) is more likely the GTC team's '96 spare car, 08R, as it is in GTR'95 spec (front, sides, rear wing, etc.)

3: third and fourth images in the 19R section (LM'97 Lark #44) are of the 27R, there should be the images of the FIA GT 1997 Suzuka Lark #44 instead

Didn't see that ; the same pic as used for both #11R and #18R

Also by rechecking found few others:

4: in the 18R section the 2 last photos are from the 17R as it wears the LM'96 #39 livery

5: the unassigned images are of 21R from the Monza pre-season (1997) tests and the 18R as it was the BMW/Bigazzi "spare" car and shown around before utilizing it in the Brazilian races, as at by that time 16R had took over the "show & display" purposes.

^^^ Thanks for updating! A bit my fault too that I didn't bring those misplaced ones up earlier as I've almost always only checked the latest posts, not the first page. Just as Erik pointed out there's something missing got me interested to check the first page again after maybe a year or so. But better later than never, as the saying goes.
