Re: Are BMW drivers assholes?

I don't think that peoples who overtake want to prove something, they just like to do it. Because these kind of persons play frequently Need For Speed most wanted or other racing game. So when they are on the street, their natural reflexes wake up, and they want to overtake and go fast. It's a question of habit.

Probably you don't play need for speed a lot so you don't have the reflex of overtake with your Porsche.

A Windstar without having the check engine light is not a real Windstar.

Need For Speed has nothing to do with the real world. A video game has a joystick and a reset button, real life has head-on collisions, lawsuits and injuries. Smart people leave the aggressive manoeuvres to video games - not saying it isn't fun to pass, but doing it intelligently.

Re: Are BMW drivers assholes?

Yes of course. But if someone play video game all the day, when he exits home he still feel the need of speed. So he can unconsciously overtake other cars like he was playing. w/o crashing, of course.

You need to lay off the NFS..... and the actual "speed" but thats a different story lol

If you find your-self getting passed all the time, then you might wana just check the speed limit. And regardless of what you seem to belive, most drivers aren't teenagers playing video games all day trying to get their adrenaline rush by passing you.

When I get passed on the street, I drive at 55KPH when the speed limit is 50KPH. But I still get passed by Mazda3 and new Civic. These cars always want to go faster. You're right, they are not all teenager. Some are just hurry to go to work.

Re: Are BMW drivers assholes?

i have a couple different cars. i noticed that i drive differently when im in the faster car.. the slower car dosent compare in fun.. so maybe put the beemer driver in a slower car for awhile and see if he gets tired of not being able to pass, maybe then he gives up???

Re: Are BMW drivers assholes?

I've actually seen a lot of BMW's be rude on the road hah but overall I would have to say it really depends on the driver. I've seen one of each car do something that was rude so it just depends, but its interesting to think about

Re: Are BMW drivers assholes?

One time I see comeone driving a 335i coupé in a congested highway exactly like in need for speed. He overtakes every body and switch 3 lanes in one shot. But it's rare. Only 3 in my life.
