I may try that. I have been having a hell of a time with this model the past 2 days.

I started on painting the trim, and when I pulled off masking tape on the rear window some of the clear coat came off with it! Not sure why this happened.
After this happend I put another coat of clear and when it dried I got back to work painting. It was looking great and I was almost done with the front window trim when I accidentally hit the side of the car with my brush. So mad at myself for this!!!

About an hour ago I re-painted the side I messed up and waiting for it to dry. Hopefully it will turn out ok. Im considering stripping the paint and re doing it if it doesn't come out right.

It would be this model to give me such trouble. Never had problems like this!

Re: 67' Mustang GT

Decided not to use the bmf. Never used it before and I figured I would stick to what I know.

Anyways... I ended up re-painting it, got the trim painted, put on a few decals, and got the holes cut for the hood pins (recieved in mail today) and antenna. No pics yet, but I will post some when I get done with the body.

Im so ready for this model to be done with. I swear it hates me! lol, Just wondering what else is going to go wrong with it.

Re: 67' Mustang GT

New pics: figured I wouldn't make you guys wait for it to be completed.
All thats left to do is finish the decals, paint/install the bumpers, install lights, windshields, hood pins, and antenna.
