I went to ORiellys and borrowed a scantool. The only code that was stored was showing a low ECT/CTS reading, which I expected since I had ran the engine without the sensor connected. Well with all my fiddling and giggling around, especially the detaching and reattaching the ECT/CTS connector, I have some how cured the problem. At least temporarily, the original problem of the fans running and the engine not starting as not reoccurred since I removed and reattached the ECT/CTS connector.
