I'm quite certain that's the first time I have seen it.

Re: F1 Cutaway illustration

Excellent find!

I have the John Lawson cutaway-illustration of a BRG car - with black interior and green centre panel on the driver's seat, but taken from an opposite orientation. It's limited to 250 examples (mine's 42 of 250), and co-signed by Lord Montagu of Beaulieu. It's nice too.

Re: F1 Cutaway illustration

F1 owner, Herb Chambers, has a copy of the one by John Lawson too which was displayed at his recent Cars & Coffee event along with his McLaren. Here's a photo of it:

Re: F1 Cutaway illustration

Any one saw this example of a F1 cut-away drawing? Quite nice, I must say.

Have a look at Alex Pang's site: http://www.debutart.com/illustration...tion-portfolio

Re: F1 Cutaway illustration

I hope nobody minds me bumping an old thread with a contribution. I accidentally found this blog post: Madish Mclaren F1 Cutaway!

The artist includes english translations describing his process which I thought I was a neat read. The results came out pretty good I'd say! The scan of the finished piece is fairly big so I'll just link it: Orange Mclaren F1 Cutaway
